On November 4, 2008 Proposition 8 passed, amending the state(California) Constitution to ban same-sex marriage. On May 26, 2009 California's Supreme Court released its decision about whether to uphold the controversial law. It is STILL withstanding.
Being a lesbian, this makes me very angry. The saying "everybody is created equal" has been bull shit from the begining of it's time (on more levels than one). We do not have the same rights.. we are NOT created equal! I could go forever and a day about this suject but I won't. Now that I have this blog I just wanted to put it out there.
