Nike Blazer High GS - Scantron


For our younger readers, the sight of Scantron test sheets in the summer is probably the last ting that most of you want to see. The infamous testing format has been around for a long time and will now be the concept behind a new Blazer High for the kids. The shoe sports a black and grey leather upper with Scantron columns splashed across the side and heel. To add a few more related touches, there is a blank name/address section on the upper heel panel and a number 2 pencil along the heel strip. A set of red laces and a schoolhouse tongue label illustration finish off these creative kicks. These will be available in GS sizes and should be hitting stores in time for back-to-school. Nikon D700 Guerrilla Style Billboard

I thought this was cool..


Nikon took its cue from our celebrity-obsessed paparazzi culture to launch the brand's D700 model in Korea.
At a busy Seoul subway station, Nikon mounted a huge interactive, light-box billboard displaying life-like images of paparazzi. Huddled together as if at a premiere, the "paps" appear to be jostling and competing for the best celebrity snap. The celebrities in this case were the passersby, who automatically triggered a deluge of flashing camera lights as they walked past the billboard. The accidental superstars then followed the red carpet all the way out of the station and into a mall - directly into the store where they could purchase the new D700. Vans recently fused two of their most successful models together in the Sk8-Hi and Mountain Edition High to make the Moda Hi, which they have collaborated with California streetwear brand, Crooks & Castles, on. Now it looks like Vans will work with New York’s Acapulco Gold on another Moda Hi that is scheduled for a March 2010 release. The Acapulco Gold collaboration on the Moda Hi is clean and simple and features minimal branding from AG. The Nike Blazer High Premium pictured above takes a different route than some of the Swoosh’s most famous denim efforts, opting for the clean selvage look over a frayed aesthetic.
